  1. Very Very Good! My husband asked me to add this meal to my little bag of tricks! Very similar to Outback! I did not add the corn syrup to the honey mustard. It was Delicious! Definantly will make this again and again....besides save loads of money from eating at outback. It was several steps but not too time consuming.

  2. We've never tried Outback's version, but this was very good. We used Grey Poupon, but felt it was a bit overpowering and too mustardy in flavor. We would cut back the amount next time and use maybe half GP & half yellow. We also used just half the amount of cheese and that was plenty smothered. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)

  3. I cheated and used Kraft's honey mustard BBQ sauce and added some red onions as well. This was exceptionally good and I will make this often. Thanks so much!

  4. Definitely a keeper! I haven't tried Outback's version, but this was delicious. I only had canned mushrooms, which worked fine, but fresh would have been better. I didn't use corn syrup in the honey mustard, just 1/2 cup each of honey and dijon mustard, plus a few squirts of mayo. It still made more than enough to spread on the chicken with plenty left over for dipping. I grilled outside, then put on the toppings and stuck under the broiler for just a few minutes to melt the cheese. Will definitely make this again!

  5. We've never had Outback's version---but this was WONDERFUL! For my honey mustard, I used country dijon mustard and omitted the corn syrup. I didn't plan this, but the chicken marinated 24 hours. I also used pepper jack cheese. I decided to prepare entirely on the grill so after cooking the chicken to an internal temp of 165F, I placed the toppings on the chicken, covered the grill, and cooked until the cheese was melted-about 5 minutes. Chicken came out so flavorful and juicy! Also served w/ extra honey mustard for dipping. Thank you for a great recipe!!!
