  • This recipe was cut in half to make the servings to about 4 rather than 8-9 so just multiply everything by two if you want to make more, or the original recipe.
  • Oven 375 degrees.
  • Oil, lightly, a 4 inch square glass dish, you can also use a pie plate or whatever you choose to bake it in
  • Get a large bowl. Toss apple slices together with the rasins, which can be substituted for cranberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Spread Evenly in the baking dish. This is going to be your filling.
  • Now, start to prepare the topping.
  • Mix the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt together. Add the melted butter and stir until it becomes evenly moistened.
  • Sprinkle evenly over the fruit.
  • Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until fruit is tender.
  • add icecream or whipped cream if desired.
