I used with homemade whipped cream instead of store bought whipped topping. This was delicious. I might try with sugar free pudding next time just to cut some of the calories. Our first time was for the 4th of July, and it will soon be a regular for special parties and holidays! I bet the addition of pecans would be good too, but not everyone likes them, so I might just add to my serving next time.

Made this for Christmas Eve dinner buffet. I loved loved loved this. I made it the day before. I added toasted pecans and a honey crisp apple cut up. I used white chocolate pudding because it was what I had on hand. Very delicious. My mom will be visiting in a couple of days and I am going to make this again for her because I know she will love it too. So I will have made this twice in one week! I drained the canned fruit in a colander and then overnight in the frig' in a dish lined with paper towels. I will do that again. The salad did not get "watery" at all even after two days.
