"Adapted from English Beans on Toast after left with a can of Van Camps Pork & Beans. I find the best toast for this is white toast, however avoid the cheap 1 dollar white bread as it is typically too sweet for the recipe. Bakery bought white bread works well. I also think this recipe the tastiest with the least amount of egg whites."

ingredients

1 (8 ounce) can van camp's pork and beans
grated cheddar cheese
2 eggs
2 pieces white toast
butter

directions

Put a pat of butter in small saucepan.
Pour beans in saucepan once butter is melted, let simmer until sauce thickens. About 7 mins on medium high.
Poach eggs
Top buttered toast with beans, cheese, and an egg each.
Enjoy.
