I find the best toast for this is white toast, however avoid the cheap 1 dollar white bread as it is typically too sweet for the recipe. Bakery bought white bread works well. I also think this recipe the tastiest with the least amount of egg whites.”

  1. Put a pat of butter in small saucepan.
  2. Pour beans in saucepan once butter is melted, let simmer until sauce thickens. About 7 mins on medium high.
  3. Poach eggs
  4. Top buttered toast with beans, cheese, and an egg each.
