  • Mix dry ingredients first.
  • Add the beaten egg.
  • Add few drops of water until you have a stiff, sticky dough.
  • Drop 1/6 at a time in to hot, nearly boiling stock or on top of stew (with lots of liquid).
  • Cover and cook 10 -15 minutes.

  1. I made these for stew. They were very cheap, easy, and quick. I found them to be good, yet rather dry. I think dumplings are usually on the dry side, but I would prefer a moister dumpling. But they're pretty good overall! Made for the bargain basement tag game.
