ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 1 (16 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
directions
- In large saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, water, corn syrup and maple syrup. Stir until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat; let cool to about 15 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. Add cooled sugar mixture gradually and stir until it's smooth and combined well. Pour into air tight containers.

Oh my goodness, but is this ever a fabulous recipe. I made it fresh this morning, and I immediately used it on a fresh batch of baked pancakes, and it was a really good topper for the pancakes. The great part is, I still have 3 or 4 more jars leftover (this recipe makes a lot!) to use later on other things. I had never tried this kind of spread before running across this recipe, but it's so good and I will find more used for it. It's so good. Thanks for sharing, sheepdoc.
