Angelic Lemon Cake Dessert

"This is a very refreshing, nice summer dessert. Very simple to prepare. You can use any pie filling that you wish, but we like lemon the best...it makes a nice contrast with the sweetness of the cream cheese mixture."

  1. This is delicious and easy as is, but I usually prepare the cream cheese mixture and divide evenly between two graham cracker pie crusts and top with the lemon pie filling. I first made this so I can share one with my mother and keep one for my family. We all absolutely love it. I have made this numerous times and should have reviewed it sooner.

  2. Manda, this works for me!! It was so easy to put together, and I had all of the ingredients except the walnuts, so I used pecans. I took it to a luncheon, and everyone loved it. I came home with an empty pan. You were right, I did love the lemon with the cream cheese. It was light and tasty, and not too sweet. Thanks for posting this, I will make this one again.

I am a single gal, living on my own; currently working as an Occupational Therapist & living in Cumberland, MD. (It is "God's Country" out here...beautiful!) I LOVE to cook and bake, and love anything that looks, tastes, smells, or even closely resembles a veggie. I LOVE moo-cows, and therefore, cannot bring myself to eat any part of the adorable critters (i.e. NO RED MEAT!!) I love the outdoors, and pride myself on being the master griller on the fire pit. My mother's side of the family is 100% Polish, so I have an inborn passion for cooking...unfortunately, along with that comes a love of eating, too!! But, hey..u only live once, so I say "EAT, DRINK, and BE MERRY!!!"
