"I got this recipe from my DH's family church cookbook that they publish every year. It makes a refreshing summer beverage, but good for any party."

  1. I made this for our church coffee hour and it was delicious. The almond extract really adds a special (subtle) flavor. My husband loved it, too. The ingredients are easy to adjust for smaller portions so I will try to make this more often (and not wait for a special occasion). Thanks for posting, Shandibear! Roxygirl

  2. This is the same punch that I've made a few times now except the cranberry & pineapple juice are 48 oz of each with 1/2-1 tsp almond extract. It is a wonderful punch!! The almond adds just a little extra "something" yummy. The punch always gets lots of compliments when we use this recipe!

I am newly married, and adjusting to the wifey way. I am just starting my own kitchen, and slowly purchasing wonderful utensils and appliances so I can add to my cooking knowledge. My DH is a willing participant to my cooking, and will eat anything I place in front of him, even if I mess it up. In our house, we have a weird mix of food cultures. My DH is a southern boy, born and bred in Virginia State, while I am a good ol canadian girl raised in toronto. It has allowed us to bring together both values, tradition and food cultures to make a great mix!
