  • Cream together the butter, 2 cups of sugar and eggs.
  • add milk, flour and baking soda.
  • butter and flour 2 loaf pans.
  • pour 1/4 of the batter into each loaf pan.
  • mix the cinnamon and 2/3 cup of sugar together.
  • sprinkle 1/4 of the cinnamon mixture on top of the batter.
  • add the remaining batter to each of the pans.
  • add the remaining sugar mixture to the top of the batter mixture.
  • swirl the batter in each pan with a knife.
  • bake at 350 F for 50 - 60 minutes, checking with a toothpick or knife towards the end to come out clean.
  • cool 20 minutes in pan - if you can wait that long!
