Really wasn't expecting this simple combo to be this good! Loved it and will definitely make again. Made 1/2 the batch and used it to marinate some medium-firm tofu, which I later pan fried. Very enjoyable, I really liked having the leftover marinade to drizzle over afterwards. I made as written except for cutting back the chili oil...not sure if all chili oils are the same, but I knew with the sort I have, using that much would be too spicy for my young diners, so I used about 1/2. Thank you!

Giving this the high 5 as I made it with the DM in mind and she loves her salty foods and with this she was in 7th heaven having it on her pork chop. The DS made short order or it (though there isn't much that he doesn't) but for the DH and I it was a little too salty, for me I would use the low sodium soy but the DH recons it has a metalic taste so don't use when he is eating. I did only use 1/3 cup green onion (found to be plenty for us) and the dipping/basting part of the sauce I zapped in the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes (900 watt oven) and just spooned over the DM's and the DS's, a little on the side for me and the DH put a teaspoon worths on his. Thank you HeatherFeather, made for Bargain Basement.
