“I'm trying to eat less carbs and I often have this sandwich for breakfast. Its flavourful, light, crunchy and so simple to make. I find it filling so I don't want to eat much else. I like to use a sweet apple on top of the sandwich and sprinkle it with a pinch of pumpkin or apple pie spice, cinnamon or nutmeg over the apples. You could add whatever spice you like to add to apples.”
