  1. Core, peel, and chunk apples and pears.
  2. Place in 2-quart sauce pan.
  3. Add apple juice, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg.
  4. Cover, simmer until chunks are fork tender.

  6. Add honey to taste.
  7. Serve hot or refrigerated.
