Ingredients Nutrition

  • 8 ounces puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam, warmed
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 10 slices bacon

Directions

  1. Roll out pastry to a 10 inch square. Place pastry on baking sheet and brush top with apricot jam.
  2. Layer apple slices to cover entire surface. Sprinkle apples with sugar.
  3. Bake until apples are caramelized and pastry is golden brown, about 35 minutes. Remove at let cool while bacon is cooking.
  4. Place bacon slices on another baking sheet and bake until bottom is golden brown, about 8 minutes. Flip and continue to cook until bacon is crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Roughly chop.
  5. Spread bacon evenly over apples. Cut pastry into 10 squares and serve immediately.
