Apple Bread ABM

"This recipe is something I made up in hopes to use up some chopped apple danish filling I had made for another recipe, but I somehow screwed up. It's a nice dense bread, sweet, but not too sweet. This will make two 9 inch loafs."

  • 1 cup apple's sugar juice (see step one)

directions

  • Place apples pieces into a mixing bowl and stir in cinnamon and brown sugar; let rest together overnight - this will create your apple/sugar juice.
  • Separate the apples from the sugary juice and place them in the bread machine, along with your dry ingredients, and butter.
  • Measure out one cup of the sugar juice, and separate your egg white. Add liquids and start the machine, manual or dough cycle. You want the dough to create a ball.
  • When dough cycle has finished (my machine takes 2 hours and 11 minutes for the Manual cycle), divide dough into halves. Place each half into a well greased and floured 9 inch loaf pan (I lined my non-stick loaf pan with parchment paper, rather than grease & flour).
  • Bake at 350F for 50 minutes.

  1. Enjoyed this very much! Was hoping to find a yeast apple bread that was easy and this fits the bill. Doubled the cinnamon otherwise made as posted. Made for Spring PAC 2014.
