  • FOR THE BREAD PUDDING: Heat oven to 350°F Combine bread, apples and raisins. Place in a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Beat eggs; add milk, water, butter and extract. Pour over bread mixture, completely moistening bread. Bake 45-50 minutes until knife comes out clean. Cool slightly. Serve warm with maple rum sauce.
  • MAPLE RUM SAUCE:.
  • In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in 1/2 cup whipping cream and 1 cup brown sugar. Stir over medium heat until mixture boils for 2-3 minutes. Remove and stir in 2 Tbps. rum and 1/2 teaspoons maple extract.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
