Apple Brownies
"OK, I have no idea why these are called brownies since there is no chocolate in them but I'll leave the name as it was given to me. It's certainly a different take on the traditional "brownie". Very easy recipe to assemble and delicious, too!"

- 3⁄4 cup margarine
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 apples, chopped
- 3⁄4 cup nuts, chopped
directions
- Cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
- Add flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon; mix well.
- Stir in apples and nuts.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
