  1. Easy recipe to make. I made this twice. The first time I found it way too sour & tart for my taste. So I altered the recipe by using 6 cups of homemade crab applesauce, instead of 4, 1/2 cup brown sugar & 1 1/2 cups vinegar, & followed the rest of this recipe to a T. It was a lot better the second time. Made it sweeter. Works great with red meat & proteins. Thanks!

  2. It's not that I don't like or can't have tomatoes ~ It's just that I enjoy trying new things like this very recipe! Easy to put together (I used some homemade applesauce but had to mash it more thoroughly since I'd made it chunky!) & very nice tasting, too! We initiated it on burgers & look forward to enjoying it in a variety of ways! Definitely a condiment I'm happy to make again & again! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Married mother of twins. I very seldom ever use recipes as they are written, always modifying and adjusting them. Many times I will take three or four different recipes and come up with a new recipe based on those. <img src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e347/Saturn6666/KiwiDutch/3chefstag1.jpg">
