“From Martha Nesbit’s book, Savannah Celebrations. She says, “This recipe is not only perfect for brunch, but is also delicious with any menu featuring pork.” In place of the canned apples you can use six Granny Smith apples, peeled, diced and stewed in ½ cup water for 15 minutes. I had 4 ounces cream cheese left over from a cheesecake so I substituted in this for ½ cup of the Cheddar cheese. Yum!”
