  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Cream butter, sugar & flour together.
  3. Pat evenly onto bottom and up (1 to 1.5 inches) sides of an 8½ inch.
  4. springform pan.
  5. Spread jam evenly over bottom of crust.
  6. Beat all filling ingredients together until smooth.
  7. Spread over jam layer.
  8. Toss apples, sugar, & cinnamon together in a bowl.
  9. Spoon over filling.
  10. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  11. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 400°F (204°C) for 25-30.

  13. Cool thoroughly before removing springform rim.
