Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 quart apple cider
  • 23 cup red hots red cinnamon candies
  • 1 (1 3/4 ounce) package dry pectin
  • 5 cups sugar

Directions

  1. In a large pot, combine the cider, candy, and pectin.
  2. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring often.
  3. Add sugar and return to a rolling boil.
  4. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from the heat and skim off any foam.
  6. Carefully ladle hot jelly into sterilized half-pint jars, leaving 1/4 in headspace.
  7. Adjust caps.
  8. Process for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
