Apple Coleslaw

"Found this recipe on another site and have made it several times. The apples and honey give it a crisp yet fresh taste that family and friends have raved about. Easy to make ahead so I have time to concentrate on other things. Preparation time includes refrigeration time."

  1. I tried this recipe after seeing it in a recent issue of Kraft Food & Family [?]. The only alterations was Light Miracle Whip, and I used preshredded coleslaw mix. I thought it was okay. I actually did not like the tang of the Miracle Whip. I think it would have been better with Hellman's. DH really liked it though. He thought it was better day 1, and I liked it better day 2. Good change from the norm, but I will likely try some of the other apple coleslaws. Thanks for posting!

  2. A simple and tasty coleslaw. I used a bag of coleslaw mix and left in refrigerator overnight. Wonderful flavor! Served with grilled hamburgers for a quick weekend dinner. Made and reviewed for PAC 2007...thank you Bonnie!
