  • Brown roast on all sides in skillet in canola oil, and place in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Cover, and cook on low 6-8 hours.

  1. Excellent flavor combo. I used this recipe but lowered the amounts and used 2 center cut pork chops. As we are just 2 we have no need for a roast. I made the fruit sauce ahead and later pan cooked the chops, warmed the sauce and placed it on top of the chops. So good! Dinned was quite holiday influenced as I used Stove Top as a side along with buttered Brussels sprouts and cooked carrots. It was a pretty plate and very yummy. The apple cranberry sauce would be fab on chicken also.
     
  2. Made this several days ago & it made for a very satisfying meal! Really enjoyed the apple & cranberry combo, & left overs the next day were just as great tasting as the first serving of this roast! Definitely a cooler way to go during the hot summer months!
