  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Slice each apple into 8 slices.
  3. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll.
  4. Place seam down in a buttered 9x13 pan.
  5. Melt butter and stir in sugar, just barely.
  6. Add vanilla, pour over dumplings.
  7. Pour Mountain Dew around edges of the pan.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  9. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
  10. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Spoon sweet sauce over the top. Enjoy!
