  1. More stars, please! I wanted to try this based on other reviews and discovered I didn't have rosewater. After a lengthy search I have it and made it this morning. Although it seems to be a dessert, I decided to make this for breakfast and serve it over oatmeal. It was wonderful! It was worth waiting for rosewater and not using a substitute. I topped it with whole pistachios and slivered almonds. Wow! I grated a quarter of an apple and decided it was too much work, so I chopped up the rest of the apple with a vengeance!

  2. OM Gosh, where to start? First of all, Cardamom, Rose Water and Saffron, individually, are some of my favorite flavors!!! So choosing this recipe for Best of 2017 was a no-brainer! This is such a good dessert that I almost didn't share it. That flavor combo is exotic and to die for. I didn't have pistachios, so used walnuts and macademia nuts. Pistachios would probably put it over the top. As it is, it's a 10 star recipe! And like BK, this is going into my Favorites of 2018. Thanks for posting!

  3. Wow, what a wonderful dessert LL. I loved it, such an exotic taste. I really enjoyed the way all the flavors complimented one another. I especially loved the cardamom and rosewater with the apple. I made as written and wouldn't change a thing. Garnished with sliced almonds. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe, that I made as recommended by ArtandKitchen for Best of 2017. Kudos my friend, on making it into my Best of 2018.
