I live in North Carolina and love cooking. I read cook books for pleasure. Southern Living always publish really good recipes, so I would say their publications are my favorite. My pet peeve is folks that eat out ALL the time and do NO home cooking. I just bought a Bread Maker and I am really look forward to getting some good bread recipes.
