Apple Oatsie Bran

"For this recipe I use Light Silk and a rather coarse grater for the apples. I have a real sweet tooth so I add a teaspoon of splenda, but it's just a matter of personal preference."

  1. This was a lovely breakfast on a cold winter morning! I used almond milk instead of regular milk, but it worked out fine. I also added a packet of Truvia. My grater didn't seem too keen on grating the apple, so I just chopped it up instead, but I think I quite liked having the pieces of apple in there. It did taste a little "branny," which I don't mind; but if someone does mind that, then adding more vanilla or some sweetener is a must. Thanks for posting!

I'm only 16 years old but come from a family big in cooking! I like things that aren't too too complicated, but are also pretty healthy as well (meaning I often find myself changing family recipes to suit my lifestyle). And dishes.. I hate doing dishes, arghh, lol. Other than that I'm starting my own jewelery business in a couple weeks, and my 17th birthday is coming up in May! Yay! :D
