Apple Stuffing

"I generally don't like traditional stuffings but this has always been a winner in my cookbook. I like to add some extra dried sage on top of the stuffing right before baking."

  1. Good stuffing recipe. Received compliments all around the Thanksgiving table.

  2. I also don't generally like stuffing but this recipe seemed different and promising. Didn't disappoint at all. I had to cut back as I was making it just for myself; didn't get the proportions quite right and it was a little dry but still quite tasty. Looking forward to making a whole batch to share and delight someone else!

  3. This was excellent!!! My Mom always makes an apple stuffing and I couldn't use it this year because I bought a deboned turkey roast. This is sooooo yummy - my kids gobbled it all up. I recommend cooking it uncovered for a while - I cooked it covered and it was a little too moist until I took the cover off for a bit. Very highly recommended - if you have never had apple stuffing you should try this one!
