Ingredients Nutrition

  • 6 apples (Use a good flavored apple for this old favorite such as Fuji, Gala, Jonathan, Cortland, Empire or Wi)
  • 1 lb bulk sausage, any flavor

Directions

  1. Slice top off apples and core, leaving only a thick casing.
  2. Dice apple pulp and mix with sausage.
  3. Stuff cases, piling high.
  4. Bake at 375F for 35 to 40 minutes.
