ingredients

1 lb ground beef
¹⁄₂ lb ground pork
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
2 cups raw potatoes, grated
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons grated onions
15 ounces applesauce
1 egg (beaten)

directions

Mix all ingredients to-gether in large bowl. A 1/2 teaspoons of sage or poulty seasoning can be added if you like.
Pack loosely in 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
