- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chunky unsweetened applesauce
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup yellow squash baby food (or carrot)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
directions
- preheat oven to 400°F Grease or line muffin pan. make the topping by combining the oats sugar cinnamon and butter/margarine. set aside. in a large bowl combine flour, bakingpowder, bakingsoda and and cinnamon. in a separate bowl mix applesauce, milk, baby food, sugar, oil, and egg. Add the flour mixture slowly stirring just enough to moisten all ingredients. (batter will be lumpy). divide into muffin cups, top with topping and bake for 18-20 minute Let cool.
