Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (15 ounce) can apricots in juice
  • 1 (3 ounce) package orange Jell-O
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Directions

  1. .Bring the apricot juice to a boil and add the jello and dissolve. (This recipe was written long before the invention of apricot jello, so that could be used as well). Stir in the vanilla ice cream. Mash the apricots with a potato masher or pastry blender. Add the apricot pulp and stir until well blended. Pour in the prepared baked pie shell and chill till set. Serve with whip cream!
