- 1⁄4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1⁄4 cup tamarind paste
- 2 Thai chiles
- 2 tablespoons palm sugar
- 1⁄2 cup canola oil
directions
- For the sauce, place first six ingredients in a processor and blend to a paste. Gradually add the oil, emulsifying the mixture.

This was an awesome sauce lamarb. I really enjoyed it...love tamarind. It was tart, tangy, spicy and semi sweet....just the way I like it...with a lovely, thick, silky texture. I served it with spring rolls and breaded shrimp. I did enjoy it the next day with potato samosas...so yummy! Thank you for sharing this quick and easy to make recipe. Into my keeper box this goes.
