  1. Combine beef with 1/2 of the garlic, 1/2 of the scallions, the chestnuts, and the zest.
  2. Form into 4 patties and grill or broil.
  3. Saute remaining garlic and scallions with concentrate, soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, and pepper.
  4. Combine the broth with the cornstarch.
  5. Bring the concentrate mixture to a boil, add the broth, and stir until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the sauce over the hamburgers.
