  • Prepare asparagus by snapping off tough ends and rinsing under cool water. Steam until bright green and still slightly crisp, about 5 minutes.
  • Toss in olive oil and sprinkle with lemon, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with pinenuts and Parmesan cheese.

  3. I was looking for a recipe that used pine nuts, and this one worked out great. The lemon and pine nuts go together very well. Be sure to eat quickly before the asparagus get cold!
     
  4. Really delicious and easy. Don't overcook the asparagus, it is so yummy when it is still crunchy.
     
  5. This is an excellent way to prepare asparagus. I love the tang of the lemon and depth of flavor of the Parmesan cheese. My husband and I ate a very large bunch for dinner without any leftovers.
