Ingredients: 3 lbs boneless beef roast, cubed; 1 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix; 28 ounces diced tomatoes; 2 tablespoons minute tapioca; 5 potatoes, diced; 1 onion, chopped; 8 carrots, chopped; 1 teaspoon sugar; 1 tablespoon salt; 1/2 teaspoon pepper; 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

"My daughter Audrey always called this "Carrot Stew" as she loves the carrots in it, but really it is a beef/venison stew easily thrown together for the crockpot."

ingredients

3 lbs boneless beef roast, cubed
1 ¹⁄₄ ounces dry onion soup mix
28 ounces diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons minute tapioca
5 potatoes, diced
1 onion, chopped
8 carrots, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt
¹⁄₂ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

directions

Add everything to slow cooker (stir together) and cook on high 5 hours or low 9-10 hours.
I try to make sure all veggies are chopped about the same size for even cooking.
If I have a venison roast on hand, I substitute it in the recipe and no one knows!
