Aussie Sausage Rolls

- 1 1⁄4 lbs bulk pork sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons snipped chives
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika, divided
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (17 1/3 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
directions
- In a large bowl, combine sausage, onion, chives, basil, garlic, 3/4 teaspoon paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Unfold pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
- Roll each pastry sheet into a 11 inch by 10 1/2 inch recyangle, and cut widthwise into 3 1/2 inch strips.
- Spread 1/2 cup sausage mixture down the center of each strip.
- Fold pastry over and press edges to seal.
- Cut each roll into 6 pieces.
- Place seam side down on a rackin a shallow baking pan, and sprinkle with remaining paprika.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Will make no adjustments. <br />3 stars - good, might consider an adjustment <br />2 stars- Okay- will make adjustment <br />1 star- debatable I will make again, would with right adjustment <br />0 stars - Will not attempt again.</p>
