Authentic Thai Watermelon Smoothie

"On a trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, a few years back, I went to an "American Restaurant" which had on the menu a watermelon smoothie (but I think they called it a shake). I just now got around to figuring out the recipe, and I it's pretty spot on, taste wise. I make it on a weekly basis, it's that good. I hope you enjoy!"

  1. This is a great light and tasty smoothie! I loved the addition of the lime juice, gave it a nice fresh taste. I used just a small amount of lowfat milk instead of the condensed milk and really enjoyed this healthy treat - thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. Very refreshing! I wasn't so sure how I felt about mixing dairy with watermelon, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lime gave it a nice zing, and the sweetened condensed milk sweetened it without making it milky at all. I used ~3.5 oz of the condensed milk, and the smoothie was just sweet enough. Thanks for posting! Made for PAC Fall 2011

  3. Smooth one! Added little lime zest for extra zing. Very yum.
