- 6 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup turbinado sugar
- 1⁄2 cup honey, heated
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon mulling spices
- 750 ml vodka
- 1 cup apple juice
directions
- Put apples slices, sugars, honey, dried cranberries, apple juice. lemon juice and mulling spices in a one gallon jar with a tight fitting lid. Close lid and shake well over your kitchen sink. Open jar and add vodka. Add apple juice as needed to top off the jar. Transfer jar to refrigerator and keep cold for at least a week. After infusion time has passed, filter liquid through cheesecloth and a strainer or colander twice. Discard fruit. Bottle liquor in a wire stopper bottle. Enjoy responsibly with friends and family to celebrate Autumn.
