Directions

  1. Heat the Olive Oil in a skillet and brown the chuck roast on both sides.
  2. Cut up the potatos into bite size pieces.
  3. Cut up the carrots into bite size pieces.
  4. Peel and quarter the onions.
  5. Place all the vegetables in the bottom of the crock pot.
  6. Add the beef stock and wine.
  7. Place the browned roast on top and smear the garlic on top of the roast.
  8. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until roast is fork tender.
