Ingredients Nutrition

  • 453.59 g ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 78.78 ml celery, chopped
  • 78.78 ml green pepper, chopped
  • 78.78 ml catsup (I add more, about double it)
  • 59.14 ml water
  • 14.79 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 4.92 ml salt
  • 0.61 ml red pepper sauce (or to liking, I add alot more)
  • 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted (but I like to use hot dog buns, holds filling in better)

Directions

  1. Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a 10 inch skillet until beef is brown; drain.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except buns. Cover and cook over low heat just until vegetables are tender. 10-15 minutes.
  3. Fill buns with beef mixture.
