  1. I wish I would have tried these when my boys were little! Now that they are 2 and 4, they didn't really like them (not sweet enough I think). But I would definitely recommend them for infants/toddlers.

  2. My one year old loves these! I didn't have applesauce at home when I made it, so I used a few jars of baby food, and it worked great. I've also traded out the banannas for strawberries and pears, and other fruits, and it's all very tasty! Thanks again!

  3. I wanted to try these since I am searching for a homemade version of gummy fruit snacks for my boys. I left it in the fridge overnight and it still did not completely gel (more like a yogurt consistency). I gave it to my boys in bowls to try and they rank it "Ok"... not good and not bad. This recipe is not the winner in my search. I have 2 more rcipes to try that I found on other sites.

  4. My 8 mo old loved them even though I didn't add enough gelatin (mine came in a box) and they were a little soft. She made a mess but it looked like it was all part of the fun!!

  5. My 9-month-old absolutely LOVED these! I quartered the recipe and chilled them in a small casserole dish, because I didn't need very much. He gobbled them right up and cried when I didn't give him anymore! Definitely five stars!

I am a very busy girl with a two year old boy and a crazy full time job! With all that I do not have alot of time to cook, but I love cooking and serving my family homemade food. I love reading cookbooks so this site is a major hit with me. I love getting feedback on my recipes and giving feedback to others. I love being able to post a request and getting all of the help from people everywhere. In the summer I love canning and making my own jellies and jams. I usually end up giving it away as gifts, that always seemed like a more personal gift. What could be better than something homemade?
