  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 34 cup light Karo syrup
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 12 cups pecans
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells

  • Beat eggs.
  • Add next six ingredients. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

  1. Boy, I haven't had a pecan pie this GREAT in ages. Let me tell you, it was as flavorful as it can get. Also the picture speaks a thousand words. Plenty of pecans in every bite, and it was easy as pie, pardon the expression to prepare, and bake. Followed the recipe to a tee. One of the best desserts we have ever had, And a DEFINATE KEEPER. The baking time here was a tad over 40 minutes. Made for Recipe Swap #25.
