Directions

  1. Fry the bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Crumble into small bits.
  2. Drain most of the bacon grease from the skillet. Add the onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add the seasonings, basil and sour cream and stir to combine. Cool.
  4. Sprinkle the reserved bacon bits and cheese on a cutting board. Mix with the meat.
  5. Shape into 4 or 5 patties. Roll in the cornmeal.
  6. Grill 4-5 minutes or until center is opaque. Serve on buns with lettuce, avocado and tomato.
