  • 4 (3175.14 g) canbushes baked beans (any flavor)
  • 20-25 hot dogs
  • 2 (481.94 g) box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 709.77 ml shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 158.51 ml milk (for cornbread mix)
  • 2 eggs (for cornbread mix)
  • 473.18 ml creamed corn (1 regular size can)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Put beans into large baking pan.
  3. Slice hot dogs into 1/2 inch slices and add to beans.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. While bean and hot dog mixture is in the oven,Mix cornbread mix, milk, eggs, creamed corn, and cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Once bean and hot dog mixture has baked for 15-20 minutes, spread cornbread mixture gently on top to cover.
  7. Bake for 20-30 additional minutes or until cornbread is cooked through.
  8. Cornbread will be moist because of corn, so don't overcook.
