Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Pour beans into casserole dish and place in oven until heated through.
  3. In a small, nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add onions and cook 3 minutes longer.
  5. Remove beans from oven and scatter onions and bacon around the beans.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar and black pepper over the onions.
  7. Bake beans with toppings 10 minutes longer.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.
