  • Cut squash in cubes.
  • Put in buttered casserole dish.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of water.
  • Sprinkle generously with brown sugar, as much as your in the mood for (not necessarily 1/2 cup).
  • Bake uncovered at 350°F until you're able to stick a tooth pick through the squash.

I'm originally from MA and thats where most of my recipes come from, my mom has a huge recipe collection, and last year i was handed my Great Great Great grandmothers cook book. it has so many interesting things in it, all the way from Mayonnaise cake to Roast Moose.
