  1. My family really liked this. Was wondering how it would be if you added a little bit of cheese to it.

  2. A good, tasty dinner to make. Since DH and I like that extra "tang", the next time I'll add a little more mustard. Thanx Merlot!

  3. Very simple to make but also great tasting. The mustard sauce and ham flavors go well together. You are right about this being great comfort food. My family and I enjoyed eating your casserole and I will add this to my favorite, quick meal file. Thank-you Merlot.

  4. My kids really like this one. I used a 1lb of ham instead of the 2 cups.

  5. A wonderful and quick dinner to make. The prepared mustard gave the sauce a nice flavor. Can't wait to make this dish again.rn

Tweaks

  1. Delicious! I doubled the mustard and the milk as I like lots of sauce and wanted extra tang. I also added a chopped onion and peas. I topped it with some shredded cheddar instead of the bread crumbs. My husband and all 3 kids loved it. I will definitely be making this again.

  2. This recipe is pretty darn good! I followed the recipe down the line, using dijon mustard instead of prepared and italian bread crumbs for the top. My husband loved it and we will be making this often. Thanks for posting!

  3. I used dijon instead of prepared mustard, crushed saltines instead of bread crumbs, and added about a cup of cheddar. Even with the cheese, it was still a little mild for our tastes, but not bland--definitely homey and good. Maybe next time more mustard and a sharper cheese.
