  • Set oven at 375.
  • Combine meat, onion, 1 tsp. salt, pepper and parsley.
  • Mix well.
  • Form into 1 1/2 inch balls then flatten into patties and fry slightly in a skillet with the oil, turning over once, (do not cook through).
  • Remove from skillet and place in a baking or casserole dish.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and add to meat patties.
  • Stir gently.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes or until carrots are tender.
  • Serve with rice pilaf.

  1. Yummyyyyyyy..I made a side of rice to go along with it!! I also just flatten in a 13x 9 pan like I would kibbee and with a knife cut into squares, then I top with potatoes and onions and ingredients. Much easier and quicker:)
     
  2. Thought this was really good, and others in my family (including 18 month old) enjoyed it also. Next time, I might add some oregano, to punch it up a bit. Will definitely make again.
     
  3. Easy to make and everyone that has tried it so far has liked it! Lots of little variations in the spices can be made too...try five spice powder instead of cinnamon, etc... Reheats well.
