Baked Macaroni and Cheese

- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 1⁄2 cups milk
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese (I use velveeta)
- 8 ounces macaroni
directions
- In 2 quart saucepan melt margarine over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, mustard & pepper until smooth. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in mild until smooth, stirring constantly over medium heat. Heat about 10 minutes. Remove from heat & stir in cheese until thickened. Turn macaroni into greased 2 quart casserole. Pour cheese over macaroni & mix well.Bake @ 375 for 25 or until top is light brown. Sometimes I top with more shredded cheese & paprika.
